More is not better. Smarter is better

More is not better. Smarter is better
You see the problem is this: They cut the season shorter in order to cut down on burnout and injuries.
The result: Athletes start their pre-season training earlier, not fully recovered, some still carrying old niggles.
Then we have over enthusiastic trainers and coaches adding on.
The smart athletes and coaches know that less of what you need is more important than more than what you don’t need.
Rules:
- Respect recovery first.
- Take care of issues (injury & niggles).
- Know and Plan what you NEED to do to get better.
- Plan rest and regeneration time around ALL hard work.
- Learn from seasons before. More is not better. Smarter is better.
