Spain, France and the U.S. on the Top of Countries Tennis Ranking (ATP)
The new tennis season 2015 is just around the corner. Let’s look at the final countries tennis ranking on the men’s side in 2014. As we can see, there are two world leaders Spain and France. American tennis players moved up significantly in this season. Four Americans in top 50 – John Isner (19), Sam Querrey (35), Steve Johnson (37) and Jack Sock (42), and Donald Young is # 57. One year ago, the U.S. was only # 7 in the men’s world tennis. Germany with seven players in top 100 on the fourth position.
Methodology for the ranking is very simple: position 1 gives 99 points…position 99 gives 1 point. I also included information about a quantity of tennis players from top 100.
