Dave Mullins has coached at many different levels but spent 12 years in the college coaching world where he garnered numerous coaching awards and helped all the programs he coached at to new heights and numerous program firsts.
His last stop was at the University of Oklahoma women’s tennis program where he led the Sooners to three consecutive NCAA Championship appearances, won seven Big 12 position titles, five ITA regional championships and recorded two-straight seasons with 18 wins.
Professionally, Mullins was ranked as both a singles and doubles player and was a member of Ireland’s Davis Cup team. He played in Davis Cup competition from 1999-2004, representing Ireland against Ukraine, Hungary, Greece, Egypt and Slovenia. As a junior tennis player, he competed in both the Junior Wimbledon and the Junior French Open. Mullins graduated with All-America honors from Fresno State with a degree in business and finance in 2001. Mullins and his wife, Laura, have two sons, Liam and Damien and live in Wicklow, Ireland.
